Some Random Stuff

I called it on Facebook. They’ve pulled up three past images of Nola in the last week, grrr. Our big trip is now just over a week away and there’s been a lot of emails flying back and forth between family members regarding random, last minute details.

Speaking of random, I have a few random images from the yard that I want to throw out today. The first is a dragonfly that landed on one of the hosta flowers and stayed for a very long time. Long enough for me to take a lot of photos, mostly blurry ones. This one’s not bad.

Then I have one I call “The Scourge of the Garden.” These Japanese beetles show up every year and devour my shrub roses, along with a few other plants. This year they waited until after most of the roses had bloomed and faded, so I didn’t lose too many flowers. They did shred the leaves. I am so tired of dealing with these pests, I will never plant roses again.

Just to keep it really random, I’m rounding out today’s post with a very abstract image of some pink flowers.

Tomorrow’s post will probably have more of a theme. Or not.
