More From Lake Harriet

I’ve got a few more images from my trip around Lake Harriet with the 50mm f/1.2. Next, I’ll be moving on to my trip around Lake Harriet with my 100-400mm. I’m starting to hate featuring vertical images because I feel like I need to fill up the empty space next to the image with words. And sometimes I just don’t have a lot to talk about. Hopefully the images speak for themselves.

If they don’t, I’m not really doing my job, right? Back when I set myself the goal of posting EVERY SINGLE DAY, I did it with the caveat that I wouldn’t feel the need to hit some minimum word count with every post. And yet, I still feel the need to fill this white space. Sometimes it’s easy and sometimes I feel like I’m just spouting bullshit. Probably because I am most of the time.

Here’s my final image of the remaining ice on Lake Harriet. When we walked just 10 days later, every last bit of ice was completely gone. I hope that means spring is coming soon. I can’t wait for the tulips to start coming up at the Arboretum. Spring can’t get here soon enough.
