Other Tiny Things

Yesterday’s seedhead wasn’t the only tiny thing that saw some Lensbaby love at the Arboretum last Sunday. I processed three versions of this fuzzy little plant, but I am declaring this one to be the winner.

Here’s another tiny seedhead that caught my attention.

I made many, many attempts at capturing the hydrangea flowers, with limited success. This turned out to be my favorite, but I confess to having a heavy hand with the cropping. The hydrangeas are so busy, it’s hard to get a good composition.

After I finished using Jane’s Lensbaby, I switched to my favorite lens, the 50mm f/1.2. If I had to limit myself to only ever using one lens (perish the thought), this would be the one. Tomorrow’s feature – dreamy landscapes at f/2.5.
